UFC rankings
Every division ranked by results alone. No panel, no hype: a rating built from every UFC fight since 1994, the same one our AI uses. Beating a highly rated opponent moves you up a lot; losing to a low-rated one drops you hard.
Active fighters only (a UFC fight in the last 18 months, at least 3 UFC fights). These are CageIQ's ratings, not the official UFC rankings. How the rating works

How the rating works
Everyone starts at 1500. After each UFC fight the winner takes points from the loser: more when the result was a surprise, fewer when the favourite won, and 25% more for a finish than a decision. A fighter's first five UFC fights move the rating faster, so newcomers find their level quickly. Over thousands of fights the numbers settle into a ladder of who beat whom, which is why a fighter with fewer wins against stronger opposition can sit above a longer win streak.
It only knows UFC results: no injuries, no camp changes, no fights outside the UFC. A 100-point gap means the higher-rated fighter would win about 64% of the time by rating alone; our full model adds striking, grappling, age, reach and more.
